Local Dive Thailand, Leaders In Phuket Scuba Diving Tours

Local Dive Thailand (LDT) is one of the few full stack dive companies operating here in Phuket, with a fully purposed scuba diving tour vessel, the M/V Kepsub running daily dive trips to Phi Phi Island, Racha Yai/Noi & the King Cruiser Wreck. There may be other dive companies offering scuba diving tours in Phuket, but Local Dive Thailand is simply the only choice to make if you want to ensure that you have the best day possible, plus we give you access to the most exciting reefs, wrecks & islands that scuba diving Phuket, Phi Phi or Thailand have on offer!

At Local Dive Thailand we provide Phuket’s best scuba diving day trips!

We take our job as a leading diving tour company very seriously. You could argue we are the best at what we do here in Phuket, providing safe, reliable, fun and dedicated scuba diving tours to Thailand’s best dive sites and most pristine reefs. But that is not going to stop us from improving further or prevent us from doing everything we can to make your customers, or your day one to be remembered! Below is our company philosophy, sometimes referred to as our mission statement.

To provide Thailand’s most outstanding scuba diving day trip tour experiences

If we sound like the company you want to dive with, don’t hesitate, contact us today and we will get you diving tomorrow. Don’t miss out on the wonderful opportunities that Phuket diving regularly provides, like diving with Whale Sharks, seeing Sea Horses in their natural environment, sleepy Turtles and let’s not forget the Sharks, we still have plenty here from Leopard to Bamboo to Black Tips. Come dive with Local Dive Thailand, you won’t be disappointed!

Phi Phi Island Diving – Sharks, Turtles & Sea Horses

It might not sound like fun to be surrounded by 10 – 15 Black Tip Reef Sharks, but until you’ve done it, you won’t understand the thrill and the excitement that scuba diving at Phi Phi’s Palong Wall can bring. Some of the dive sites there are absolute mecca’s for Black Tips, and another one of our favourite dive sites, ‘Turtle Rock‘ is a home for hungry Hawksbills, many of them very unperturbed by divers so they make for great muses for photographers and videographers. Phi Phi also plays host to schooling Big Eye Snappers, Golden Trevally, Harlequin Shrimp and some Nudibranch life like the Stricklandi & Halgerda families. It truly is a wonderful diving experience for all levels of certified divers!

Manta’s, Wrecks & Macro, What To Expect From a Racha Noi & Racha Yai Dive Tour

Racha Noi is Phuket’s primary Manta hot spot, a cleaning station that regularly brings these amazing giants of the sea to visit us in the shallow waters of the many bays and dive sites the island supports. Racha Noi is also extremely diverse, with area’s of breathtaking coral growth and deeper places with hidden secrets among the massive granite boulders! Adding to this, Phuket is not exactly known for wreck or macro diving but if you happen to be on this dive tour you might change your mind, as one of our regularly visited dive sites at Racha Yai actually has 5 wrecks as well as a massive artificial reef of concrete cubes and other sunken treasures, these wrecks and artificial reef structures attract a large amount of fish and distinctly rare & unique macro life.

A Giant Wreck, Anemone Covered Pinnacles & Two Beautiful Caves, That Is Why We Dive King Cruiser, Shark Point & Koh Doc Mai

If you have not been diving on the King Cruiser Wreck you are missing out on diving one of the most easily accessible and truly alive wrecks in Thailand and by far the largest wreck we have here. There is also no chance of missing the wreck as we have a mooring line attached to it. Allowing divers to descend easily even in strong currents and a great way to do your safety stops. The Cruiser is 86 Meters long and some days it’s hard to see it because the swarming snapper, barracuda and other schooling fish life. Massive Mangrove Snapper and Grouper hide out in the wreckage and nudidbranch’s like Doriprismatica atromarginata cover the wreck.
